To me blue means calming. This is because it makes me think of the ocean or the sky while looking at a nice view.

Blue is usually the color for baby boys because it has been stereotyped as the color for boys while pink has been stereotyped as the color for girls.

According to research blue can make the mind feel more calmness and relaxation. It is also a color of stability and security. Many people associate blue as the color of serenity since it represents the calming sea which creates peace for people.
