Although winter break was full of relaxing and fun moments, my favorite memory from it was seeing the Christmas lights at the Mission Inn Hotel in Downtown Riverside. I enjoyed this picture from my trip because I took it at an angle where you could see the lights clearly while also being the main attraction in the picture. I made sure the people or other objects weren't too distracting that it took away the attention from the lights or subject. I also made sure the picture wasn't too over or underexposed. The angle from the picture also made it took like leading lines.

This picture was taken last semester when we did an assignment called forced perspective. I wanted to make it look like I was standing on top of the water bottle. To make this picture better, I could've put the water bottle closer to the camera to make it look bigger than the person. I also could've chose a background that was less cluttered so it didn't take the attention away from the subject.
